Canford Classics are pleased to offer to the market this 1971 Porsche 911, imported from North Pole, Alaska and UK registered in 2006. Canford Classics Director Alan Drayson imported the car, using it as his own personal car before selling it to the current owner in 2010.
The body presents well, finished in its original colour of Silver Metallic and complemented by 'Deep 6' Fuchs wheels. Leather trimmed Recaro Sports Seats adorn the interior along with 'salt and pepper' carpets, leather trimmed rear seats and cream headliner.
A rebuilt gearbox and 2.2E engine were fitted in 2010 before the car was sold to the current owner. Further improvements were made in 2019 by BS Motorsport, full £11k mechanical overhaul, including complete strip down and restoration of gearbox with new gearwheels, new clutch, driveshafts, wheel bearings, ignition, full plugs/points/oil/tappet service, reset suspension to factory, new fuel lines, fuel pump and more. Car has a sunroof, 'S' type front spoiler, leather sports seats, leather 'S' type steering wheel, new carpets, radio, spare wheel, toolkit, alarm, Fuch alloy wheels with Pirelli tyres. Historic vehicle, road tax and MOT exempt. During the current ownership the car has been regularly serviced and maintained at BS Motorsport, with invoices and MOTs dating back to 2006
