1980 RHD Porsche 911SC Coupe
Overview
Porsche originally introduced the Super Carrera as a last hurrah for the 911, with the intention of moving towards front engine GT cars. The 911 SC was the first Porsche model developed to appeal to a wider market than just the enthusiast driver. It is the model that helped launch the 911's reputation for durability and build quality. The 911 SC was even more luxurious than the Carrera 3.0 of the years before, and this particular 1980 model benefited from a power increase to 204 bhp along with side repeaters on front wings
This particular SC is offered with part service history, including past MoT's and servicing invoices. Included in the history folder is a Porsche supplied Certificate of Authenticity which confirms the car is numbers matching, and still retains its original specification Silver Metallic paintwork with contrasting Dark Blue interior
This example represents an increasingly uncommon opportunity to acquire an early 911 with the scope to improve on and enjoy at the same time. It's equipped with electric windows, an electric sun roof and electric mirrors. The K-Jetronic 3.0 engine pulls well and the 915 gearbox shifts nicely.
